What is APY?
Annual Percentage Yield represents the total return on a deposit over a year. FiveWest calculates yield on a simple interest basis, credited daily.
What are the minimums?
The minimum deposit is $500 USD equivalent for crypto assets and R100,000 for ZAR Earn.
How does FiveWest generate the yield?
Your deposited funds are used as liquidity for FiveWest's OTC desk. FiveWest only facilitates matched trades — there is no market speculation and no exposure to unmatched positions. The yield comes from the margin generated on those trades.
Is this a capital-guaranteed product?
No. While risks are significantly mitigated through FiveWest's matched-trade model and no speculative exposure, FiveWest Earn is not a capital-guaranteed product. Please review the General Risk Warnings before depositing.
How do I claim my yield?
Yield is credited daily at 17:00 SAST. You claim it manually from the Earn tab in your dashboard — once claimed, it transfers directly to your main FiveWest wallet.
How quickly can I withdraw?
You can request withdrawal of your principal at any time. The maximum payout period is 14 days.
How are my assets stored?
Through Ceffu's institutional-grade custody platform — cold storage, multi-signature controls, and multi-layered encryption. The same infrastructure used for FiveWest's institutional clients.
Are there any fees?
None. FiveWest charges no fees to use the Earn product.
